Call for applications
In most years, R, D & E providers, consultants and individuals are invited to submit preliminary project applications to the GWRDC for consideration for funding, which address the priorities outlined in the GWRDC's Five Year R&D Plan 2007-2012. A public call for preliminary applications is usually announced in early September, with a closing date in early October. In the public call for applications GWRDC typically indicate which GWRDC program area(s) require further investment. Successful applicants are then asked to submit a more detailed full application for funding before the end of January.
These R, D & E applications should seek to address issues of national or key regional industry significance. The proposal should clearly articulate the 'value proposition' and potential proponents are encouraged to discuss any project concepts with the relevant GWRDC Program Manager.

During 2010 the GWRDC will be introducing a new way of applying for and reporting on your projects.

It will be easier, faster and will allow greater visibility to other projects.
