Honours / PhD Scholarships

The GWRDC provides support for Honours and PhD Scholarship programs to help attract postgraduate students to the field of wine, viticultural and wine business research.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, the quality of an applicant's Curriculum Vitae and the likelihood of the applicant's ongoing involvement in the Australian wine industry. 

Honours Scholarships

The Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (GWRDC) provides support for an Honours Scholarship program to help attract postgraduate students to the field of wine, viticultural and wine business research. 

Honours scholarship awards are to a maximum value of $6,000 (GST exclusive). This comprises a $4,000 student stipend and $2,000 operating support for the research project. The number of scholarships available is at the discretion of the GWRDC.

PhD Scholarships

The Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (GWRDC) provides support for a PhD Scholarship program, to help increase the number of postgraduate students in the fields of wine and viticultural and wine business research in Australia.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, the quality of an applicant's Curriculum Vitae, the topic of the proposed PhD program and the likelihood of the student's ongoing involvement in the wine industry.
