Privacy Statement

The Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (GWRDC) is required to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and is committed to ensuring the privacy of its stakeholders and visitors to its website. Click-stream data
When you visit our website the GWRDC makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes: user's server address; user's top level domain name (.com; .au; .gov; etc), date and time of visit to the site, pages accessed, documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the service provider's log.

When you provide information
The GWRDC will only record your email address if you send us a message. The message will be used only for the purpose for which you have provided it. We will not use your email address for any other purpose and will not disclose it without your consent. Some areas of the GWRDC website include downloadable forms that can be filled out electronically and returned via email or returned as hardcopies via facsimile or the postal service.

In accordance with Information Privacy Principle 2 of the Privacy Act 1988, this personal information is used only in relation to the administering of the grant and will not be disclosed to any other agency or body without your express authorisation.

The information in these documents is used for administrative purposes so that we can process the research application and/or contact you with any queries regarding the application or research project. Information about the agencies that have received grants may be published in order to fulfil our statutory obligations in regard to accounting transparency. The names of principal investigators at that agency may be published in relation to such information. We do not however release or publish individuals work addresses, phone numbers or emails without their express permission.

Electronic data transmission
The GWRDC would like to remind visitors to its website that electronic data transmission has inherent security risks and we cannot guarantee that your emails will not be intercepted enroute. If you have concerns in this area we will accept posted versions of any of our research submission documents together with an electronic copy on disc. Freedom of Information

The GWRDC is required to comply with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act).
